As someone who didn't start playing hockey as an adult, I was unaware of the price of sticks until I went to buy my first one when I was 24 years old.  Getting over the initial sticker shock, I quickly realized that this vital piece of equipment was going to be a recurring "fee" to keep playing a sport I loved.  Seeing as I just got my first "real" job and was on a strict budget, I couldn't afford the new sticks that companies were releasing, but rather I'd search the clearance rack, I'd go online and look at pro stock, or I'd even buy the unbranded sticks that many online shops offer nowadays, trying to find a stick that I truly loved.  Finally after years of searching and settling for an off the rack stick, I decided to change that by creating this company. 

My goal with Beer League Hockey Sticks is to give adult rec hockey players the ability to create custom sticks exactly the way they want for a price that is easy on the wallet, because everyone deserves to play with the stick they love (yes, even the hockey players that have 11pm game times).
